2. Daniel Radcliffe
No matter how hard he tries, Daniel Radcliffe will always be the guy who played Harry Potter to most people, despite the acting talents he has displayed in other film, television and theatre projects, such as Equus and The Woman In Black. A role in a post-apocalyptic comedy with a religious subtext and heavy drug use would seem like the perfect departure from the family-friendly antics of the boy who lived, but Radcliffe turned down the opportunity to appear in This Is The End early on in the films development. This was partially due to the number of Potter references that the script presented to him included, though Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have also expressed belief that the actor was of the opinion that the story was, at the time, just not good enough, with the two admitting that they shouldve developed the movie further before pitching it to him.
