6 Deliciously Good Food Moments In Film

5. Willie Wonka And The Chocolate Factory (1971)

gal-wonka-cast-jpg Many of you will remember this as a much-loved childhood musical. Most of us will have memories of reading the fantastical story by Roald Dahl of an imaginary and whimsical chocolate factory, owned by the eccentric and vibrant character, Mr. Willy Wonka. The film itself manages to successfully capture a child€™s imagination particularly with one scene where we are not only introduced to the factory, but given an insight into the vivid and colourful world of his confectionery in his Chocolate room. Much to the delight of both of the children and their parents and the audience, is all edible. The giant chocolate waterfall, enormous bright gummy bears and colossal vivid lollipops. Something that we all possessed as a childhood dream hoping that it did exist while being mesmerised by a beautiful scene. It sadly did not come true.
