6 Fake Films Hidden In Your Favourite Movies

1. Inglorious Basterds - Nation's Pride

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
Universal Pictures/Weinstein Company

Without saying too much, there are a lot of pretty significant events that take place surrounding the film Nation’s Pride and the cinema it is shown in.

We are first introduced to it by the narcissistic, unrelenting Fredrick Zoller. He explains to the incredibly uncomfortable cinema-owner Shosanna Dreyfus, known in Paris as Emmanuelle Mimieux, that he’s considered a war hero, and as such has his very own war film.

Nation's Pride tells the story of Zoller's daring escape from death, as he holed up in a tower for days and murdered dozens of soldiers.

Unfortunately for him, Shosanna is less than impressed; unfortunately for her, he doesn’t give up. Eventually, she has to tolerate the premiere of the film being held in her very own cinema.

A big Nazi film premiere being held in a cinema owned by someone whose whole family was killed by the Nazis... what could possibly go wrong?
