6 Most Important Characters Missing From Captain America: Civil War

1. The Fantastic Four

I€™m getting into pure fanboy disappointment here, as there€™s still no end in sight for the Fantastic Four€™s torture at the hands of Fox. Sad face. The Fantastic Four actually have one of the most interesting character arcs of the whole Civil War event which makes it especially aggravating that they€™re still being not part of the MCU. Along with Iron Man, Reed Richards is responsible for helping to establish the Superhuman Registration Act and even went as far as to build the prison in the Negative Zone to house his friends and compatriots. What really makes Reed€™s decision and guilt interesting is the fact that it alienates his wife, Sue Storm, The Invisible Woman, causing a rift at the heart of the team that€™s arguably more devastating then that between Tony and Steve. Although they€™ve been neglected in recent years as the MCU has took off without them, the Fantastic Four are still Marvel€™s €˜first family€™ in more ways than one. They€™ve long been the beating heart of the Marvel world, an expression of love and camaraderie overcoming overcoming all challenges in a way that brings the unit closer together, and to see the Civil War tear that strong bond apart is arguably more shocking than anything else that happens before the story€™s end. Sadly the FF are less likely to bring their unique dynamic to Civil War than anybody else on this list. Come on Fox, do the right thing and give them back. Which other characters are Marvel leaving out of Captain America: Civil War? Share any we missed down in the comments.
