6 Things Disney Should Do With The New Star Wars Trilogy

2. The Filming Style

Obviously this would largely be the responsibility of the director but I would mandate one thing: film it outside of a controlled environment. This was the thing that really arsed up the Prequels (and this coming from a guy that likes them). Shooting in a single studio covered in blue-screen with two cameras is a crap way to make a film because there€™s no variety and it€™s too sterile. So if I was put in charge of making the new trilogy, I€™d order as much location filming as possible (Especially for scenes on Tatooine and the Sith homeworld of Korriban) and sets that are as complete as possible without wasting too much of the budget. Having a matte painting for a the hanger of a Star Destroyer is fine. Having everything in Padme Amidala€™s living room except the sofa computer animated is not.

John Williams and the London Symphony Orchestra. That is all. If you were in charge of the new trilogy, what would you do? Leave a comment...
