6 Ways Suicide Squad Trailer Fixes Batman V Superman's Mistakes

6. It Doesn't Appear Over-Stuffed

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice should ostensibly be about two characters fighting. Fans would be just fine with that - they€™ve been waiting to see it happen for decades, after all. But what has Zack Snyder done? He's giving us Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor and Doomsday - and that€™s not even counting other Justice League members, along with the rumours some sort of mystery third villain. For a film called Batman V Superman, it€™s too much, regardless of any universe-building they€™re trying to do. Suicide Squad, on the other hand, is a largely self-contained movie about one team of villains. That€™s why there€™s so many freakin€™ characters! And it€™s fine. There are a lot of 'em, to be sure. Rick Flag, Deadshot, Boomerang, Katana, Slipknot, Killer Croc, Diablo, Harley Quinn, Enchantress - that is one chocabloc team - but because you know you€™re walking into a film about a team dynamic it's par for the course. Batman V Superman should be about two characters. Suicide Squad is about a team. And that€™s the difference.
