Nicholas Hammond is still most well-known for his roles in The Sound of Music, where he played Friedrich von Trapp, and The Amazing Spider-Man TV show, where he played Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Here he'll be taking on the part of actor/director Sam Wanamaker (pictured above, and father of Harry Potter's Zoë Wanamaker). Known as London's favourite American director at the time, he moved to the U.K after becoming fearful of being blacklisted over his liberal views.
