7 Animated Movie Moments That Give You Goosebumps

While watching a good film, a certain scene starts to play out, all of a sudden you feel cold and tingly, overwhelmed with awe and sheer wonder. What has just happened? I'm sure many of you have experienced it - Goosebumps. This is basically a reaction you have when you are either cold or experiencing intense emotion, the latter being the one I'm referring to. Films have a tendency to do this to us, making some movie scenes extremely memorable - Here are 8 moments from animated movies that (should) give you goosebumps. Recommendation: Watch full screen with sound high

7. Spirit: Stallion of the Cirmarron - Cliff Jump

Plot Summary - The mustang spirit grows to lead his herd, in the unspoiled west. But one night, he is captured by humans. This is his extraordinary tale of him trying to return to his homeland. I remember watching this for the first time, I was only little and didn't appreciate the story as much as I do now. This movie showed humans from a horse's point of view, not all terrible though. Filled with touching and emotional to action packed scenes, but this particular one topped them all. http://youtu.be/H6spNBJJWzs

6. Beauty and The Beast - Transformation

Plot Summary - Belle, whose father is imprisoned by the Beast, offers herself instead and discovers her captor to be an enchanted prince. The highest rated Disney cartoon by critics, and treasured by many, this film is beautifully animated and told. The beast transforming is truly an epic scene, accompanied by stirring music. http://youtu.be/ms05La1pDIU

5. Legend of the Guardians - The Owls of Ga'hoole - The Flight

Plot Summary -When a young owl is abducted by an evil Owl army, he must escape with new found friends to seek out the legendary Guardians to stop the menace. I would not be surprised if you have never heard of this movie before, I only watched it because it was cheap and thought to give it a go - I'm so glad I did. Excellent and realistic animation along with awe inspiring backdrops, it really is worth watching, especially these amazing scenes. I put both since I just could not pick. http://youtu.be/tkrlAL4Kuoo http://youtu.be/eZRw-7UqXWI
