7 Awesome Movie Cameos You Might Have Missed In 2013

4. Ian McKellen/Patrick Stewart - The Wolverine

X Men Marvel are pretty much responsible for making the post-credits scene cool again, and comic book fans know to stick around until the very end of any Marvel-made movie to see what teasers the studio have left for us to speculate on. In the case of this year's The Wolverine, then, which took our hero Logan to Japan, nobody was quite expecting to see the likes of Magneto and Professor Charles Xavier, as played by irreplaceable duo Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart. Set two years after the events depicted in the movie, the post-credits scene has Logan moving through airport security, when all of a sudden a bunch of metallic objects begin to shake around him. He turns, ready to engage a dark figure standing behind him, but is suddenly frozen: it's Magneto, using his powers to keep Wolverine pinned down. He warns Logan that dark forces are approaching, before wheeling out - yes - freakin' Charles Xavier, who you'll remember was killed in the not-very-good X-Men 3: The Last Stand. "How is this possible?" Logan says, dumb-founded. "As I told you once before.. you are not the only one with gifts," replies Professor Xavier. Bring on X-Men: Days of Future Past - and make it fast!
