7 More Actors Who Literally Do The Same Thing In Every Movie

2. Adam Sandler Has A Job He’d Never Get

Adam Sandler Big Daddy

Obviously, Adam Sandler plays a barely functioning man-child in almost every movie he's ever starred in (apart from the best ones), but saying he does it in every movie is just too easy. More subtly, but just as noticeably, he also always seems to have jobs in his movies that a man you wouldn't trust to open your toothpaste should qualify for.

He's been a lawyer, a hotel manager, a cobbler, an entrepreneur, a chef, a designer, a vet, an architect, a Hollywood agent (twice) and a guidance counsellor. None of which you'd trust him to be. It's almost becoming a joke now.

Clearly, the exception is Funny People, where he plays a stand-up comedian - a job he not only could do but legitimately does. But there's always an exception to the rule.
