7 Most Convincing Harry Potter Fan Theories

1. Remus Lupin And Sirius Black Were Emotionally Dead

The resurrection stone is first discussed in The Tale of the Three Brothers, and is one of the three gifts that is given to the brothers by Death (though Dumbledore would dispute this). The stone has the ability to allow one to see shades of the holder's deceased loved ones, specifically to see them as they looked when they passed away. Harry manages to obtain the stone from the snitch on the way to his final confrontation with Voldemort. When he uses it, Harry sees the shade of his parents James and Lily Potter as well as Remus Lupin and Sirius Black. According to the book, James and Lily look exactly as they did when they were killed by Voldemort, down to the very clothes they were wearing. Lupin and Sirius, on the other hand, apparently looked much younger. The book describes Sirius as tall and handsome, while Lupin is described as being less shabby with much thicker hair. In essence, this theory suggests that Remus and Sirius were left so devastated by the murder of Harry's parents that they died as people that night, even if this death wasn't physical. This is why when Harry uses the stone, he sees his parents as they were but sees Remus and Sirius as considerably younger. Do you believe these theories?
