No Sam Raimi film would be replete without an appearance from his lucky charm, Bruce Campbell. It's always been a nice touch including him in the movies, and his appearance in Spider-Man 2 as the snooty usher was a series highlight. He had a lot to live up to with his cameo in the third instalment (come on, we all knew he was going to pop up again), and thankfully he delivered in spades. Campbell as the Maitre'd trying to help Peter propose is hilarious, and definitely worth a re-visit on YouTube, at least. It's a shame that he never got to reappear for a real showing in Raimi's aborted fourth movie, as the rumour went round that he was to appear as some sort of villain (most likely Mysterio). It's some small solace that he received a last hurrah here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDuupsaAA_8 Do you still love Spider-Man 3? Share your appreciation below in the comments thread.
