7 Pieces Of Evidence That Brick Tamland Is A Time Traveller

"Years later..." the jaw-dropping truth is finally revealed.

Ahead of the release of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, it seemed clear that Brick Tamland would have an expanded role - his character was one of the most quotable of the first movie and actor Steve Carell has certainly become much more of a 'big deal' in the nine year wait for the sequel. However, few would perhaps have expected just how Brick's character would have been fleshed out: concrete evidence that he is a time traveller. This may come as a shock to you if you're used to taking it as a given that Brick is simply a simple-minded weatherman, but speculation has run amok amongst Anchorman fans who have connected the dots between the seemingly random things coming out of Brick's mouth, particularly in the second movie. If you've not seen the new film yet, expect some spoilers. It's impossible to say for sure what the repercussions of Brick's time travel are; perhaps they are the very cause for his erratic behaviour and perceived lack of normal brain function. It certainly explains his strong bond with Ron Burgundy, a man who found himself behind the times in the first Anchorman movie and enjoyed great success in the second by being ahead of his time. Speculation about the purpose behind and the consequences of Brick's time travel is just that - speculation, so here's the evidence itself.
