It would not be much of a surprise to know that Brick is a fan of Ghostbusters - the film broke box office records upon its release. However, more surprising is that Brick is enough of a fan to quote the movie years before its release. The fact that Brick retains the information that he learns from the different times he has travelled to (and is sometimes able to transport items as discussed before) suggests that he is time travelling physically rather than mentally - he isn't simply skipping forward and experiencing moments in his own life, and he is at least somewhat aware of what he is doing. Curiously, the Ghostbusters and Anchorman franchises contain several common crew members. It's impossible to say for sure if the following names (according to IMDB) could shed further light on Brick's time travel, but it seems very likely; Gemma La Mana, Patrick Capone, Solange S. Schwalbe, Anna Behlmer and James Thatcher.
