7 Star Wars Vehicles We Need To See In Episode VII

1. Slave 1

640px Slave1 Okay here we are. The end of the list. Which means that this is the vehicle that has to be back for Episode VII. Slave 1. The ship of bounty hunter, and coolest-character-of-all in Star Wars, Boba Fett. Slave 1 needs to make a reappearance in the new trilogy, and with its owner too. Boba Fett and Slave 1 must be reunited in all their glory. You may argue that it€™s nothing special, and it €˜came back€™ already in the prequel trilogy. But it is the best vehicle in Star Wars. The image of it standing on the platform at Cloud City, Boba Fett watching on as Han€™s frozen body is loaded aboard, is visually and aesthetically impressive. And it represents all that is good about Star Wars and science fiction in general. The futuristic shape, the strange angle of flight, the array of weapons. Boba Fett himself needs to return in Episode VII, brush the sand off his jetpack, and hunt down Luke in his hover Cadillac. Luke looks in his rearview mirror and spots a shape closing in fast, a shape he recognises. €œLooks like we€™ll have to visit home another time!€ He jumps up out of his seat in a somersault, lightsaber at the ready. Star Wars is back!

Conclusion

I may have angered a lot of people with this article. I did suggest Pod Racers should make a return, and proposed Han Solo kill himself in a kamikaze style using the Millennium Falcon. And did I call the Landspeeder a hover Cadillac? The fact is, these are just some suggestions, and it€™s all open to discussion. I€˜d love to hear which vehicles you think need to be in Episode VII, so feel free to leave a comment below.

I like writing about films and hope you like reading about them too. And watching them, of course.
