7 Marvel Movie Hangups Fans Really Need To Let Go

No amount of complaining is ever going to change things.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has come a long way since Tony Stark came home to find Nick Fury in his living room and the words "Avengers Initiative" were spoken. After six years, nine movies, a handful of short films and the creation of a television show, the MCU's staggering popularity with audiences has shown no signs of flagging anytime soon as it looks to continue growing far into the future. But let€™s face it: For every two or three people who love it for what it is, there€™s another person out there who is quite ready to comment on every Marvel-related (or even DC-related) Internet article about why they hate it. Despite the fact comic fans should be rooting for the films to succeed and be thankful that we€™re seeing some of the oldest comic characters and stories finally coming to life on the big screen with a sense of justice that many studios in the past never would've bothered about, these people often demonstrate a bizarre pessimism about it all as though they'd be happier watching them fail. As such, there€™s a number of things about the MCU that a number of these people haven€™t accepted or let go of through the years, constantly bringing them up time and again in an effort to point out how the franchise is a train wreck, despite the fact that, critically and commercially, it's anything but. While the series has definitely had growing pains and continues to have flaws worth hoping for improvement, here are a few things that no amount of complaining are going to change and that need to be let go of.
