Unless you've been following the San Andreas production closely, you probably weren't aware that Kylie Minogue is in the movie. Indeed, she appears briefly for about two minutes mid-way through the film, playing Susan Riddick, the apparent ex-wife of Ioan Gruffudd's character. In her scene she's having dinner with Emma (Carla Gugino) when disaster strikes, and as Emma attempts to escape to the safety of the roof, Susan gets summarily (and forgettably) killed off without much fanfare to speak of. It's just bizarre and distracting that they gave the Aussie singer such a blatant non-part in the film, and then didn't even give her a gruesome or funny death to make it all a little tongue-in-cheek. How the conversation went that saw her end up in this movie is anyone's guess...
