8 Actors Who Will Ruin Upcoming Films

It's widely expected that the next major X-Men movie, codenamed Supernova, will be a new adaptation of the Dark Phoenix Saga, which of course revolves around Jean Grey (Sophie Turner).

Unfortunately, Turner gave a howlingly bad performance in X-Men: Apocalypse, failing to maintain a consistent American accent and frequently appearing to give up even trying.

Again, it felt like she was cast here to cynically cash-in on Game of Thrones' success, even though she absolutely wasn't qualified for the part.

Now that Turner is definitively this generation's Jean Grey, though, we're probably stuck with her for at least two more movies, the first of which seems set to place her as its protagonist.

Bad acting in a supporting, ensemble role is one thing, but to push her to the forefront where those flaws will be painfully apparent could end up sinking the entire movie.
