8 Actors Whose Upcoming Movies Could End Their Careers

8. The Ridiculous Six - Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler has made a ton of bad films over the last few years, most of which have under-performed at the box office. As a result, Hollywood has had enough of him and he's been pushed to move out: Warner Bros. refused to greenlight his upcoming project, The Ridiculous Six, and he was forced to seek help elsewhere to make it. You might have felt sorry for the guy if he'd created anything of worth, but Sandler's flicks are pure poison; embarrassing, crude and seriously unfunny. So it was Netflix who came to Sandler's rescue in the end; they offered him a lucrative four-picture deal, the first guaranteed travesty of which is due to arrive on the platform at the end of the year. Yes, a western spoof called The Ridiculous Six and starring the weirdest cast ever assembled (Adam Sandler, Taylor Lautner, Vanilla Ice, Harvey Keitel and Terry Crews - huh?), the next Sandler foray is bound to be bad. Really bad. It has also drawn much controversy for depictions of alleged racism, so there's also that. Go figure. How, then, will this bring an end to Sandler's career? Quite simply, it already has - in a way. At least, as far as Sandler having to move to the Netflix platform because his films are trash. And what happens when this schlock is released to awful critical reviews and cries of "Adam Sandler has made the worst movie ever!" Will Netflix want to honour their deal after that? Here's hoping they seriously don't.
