8 Actresses Who Will Inevitably Lead All Female Ghostbusters 3

7. Eliza Dushku

Eliza Dushku Ghostbusters It was another Ghostbuster, Dan Aykroyd, who suggested the casting of Eliza Dushku, and while she hasn't been in the spotlight a ton lately, she certainly does have experience with the supernatural, and big-name franchises: as Faith, the rogue vampire slayer on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she became well versed at the dispatching of undead evil things, and while we can't recall a time when she had to bust a ghost, it's a solid base to expand on. Dushku would bring a bit of an edge to an all-female Ghostbusters, plus she's frankly smoking hot, so there's a fair amount of appeal in her joining the cast. However, Aykroyd's comments came back in 2009, when Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, of the American version of "The Office," were working on the script. Clearly it has become a very different project since then - but could Dushku still strap on a proton pack? We don't see why not.
