3. Mark Millar Feels So Incredibly Privileged
Theres no denying as a comic book artist Mark Millar is proving to be one of the recent greats. Kick-Ass 2 may have pushed the limits of whats acceptable even for a crazed supervillain, but thats a minor hiccough in a career that has encompassed contributions to the stalwarts and startling original works. When he moves into movies, however, it gets a bit irritating. In theory Millar shouldnt even be eligible for this list as hes never creatively embraced film, standing back from the adaptations of his work. But in a showcase of how much free time his work allows, Millar loiters around for a considerable length of the shoots. Now thats good to provide writers tips on the world as a whole, but some of his actions while on set are questionable. When Wanted was shooting in New York it just so happened to be there at the same time as another major comic book adaptation. A Batman fan, Millar couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit The Dark Knight set, so decided to swing by unannounced. It didn't end well; he was eventually escorted out after being found sitting on the batpod. Given the sheer audacity it takes to walk into a major Hollywood movie set with no credentials, whats the betting he whipped out a Do you know who I am? As a Dark Knight fan I understand the temptation - he's clearly just a fanboy at heart - but boy is it arrogant to actually stroll through the Joker's carnage.
