8 Crazy Fan Theories That Actually Improve Horror Movies

Like the one about The Spice Girls slasher movie.

When you€™ve watched your favourite horror films a few times you notice the holes in the storytelling, such as the gap between when Jason Voorhees supposedly drowned and when he returned to Crystal Lake to avenge his mother€™s death. Given how his own mother believed he was dead, what was Jason doing all that time? One theory has it that he was inducted into the US Army€™s super soldier program and treated with a mysterious serum intended to accelerate the healing process that inadvertently turned him into a raving lunatic. Escaping from the Army, he learned of his mother€™s murder and returned to Crystal Lake, killing anyone who set foot near the area. The Army never forgot about him, though, which is why there€™s a task force after him at the beginning of Jason Goes To Hell, equipped with the only weapon they knew would bring him down €“ a rocket launcher. Well, that€™s the theory, and you either accept it or you don€™t, but it does connect the dots between the movies. Sort of. Well, it€™s something to think about if you€™ve nothing better to do. Each of the following theories ought to shed new light on old favourites. Think about them while you€™re mowing the lawn or polishing the silverware.
