8 Creepiest Horror Movie Monsters In Disguise

This is likely one of the fastest disguises to be shed within a movie on this list, but oh boy, is it a fun one. Roughly half an hour into Sputnik, we learn the terrifying central drive of what this eerie sci-fi actually is: a symbiotic alien organism.

First glimpsed as a shadow by cosmonaut Konstantin, one seen through the window of his shuttle as he returns to Earth with a fellow pilot, the creature of Sputnik is one that makes its home inside the space traveller. Using Konstantin's body as a space suit against the elements of Earth, it only comes out in the dead of night to feed. And this is only shown to protagonist Tatyana when after she's made her mind up that he's definitely suffering completely normal illnesses.

Nothing normal about a slithering extraterrestrial organism that feeds on flesh and hides out in the oesophagus though, as we're quickly reminded. Konstantin is a nice disguise for this creepy visitor, but an unwilling one at best.
