8 Great Horror Villains Trapped In Terrible Movies
3. Osama Bin Laden - Osombie
Osama Bin Zombie. 'Nuff said. In Osombie, the terrorist is resurrected as a zombie and hard at work building an army of undead terrorists (Axis of Evil Dead, geddit). Together a yoga instructor and a conspiracy theorist named Derek work together to put a stop to Osombie's evil. Again. Not the most sensitive of horror movies, then. Osombie could have owned its offensiveness and the ridiculousness of its concept, becoming something transcendentally ill-advised as a result. Instead, it throws all of that away in favour of dull straight-to-DVD action and rote zombie shocks, set in the desert. Osama Bin Zombie is underused too, being barely in it for most of the runtime and not making much of an impact whenever he is around. Perhaps that's for the best, though. Too soon? Probably too soon.
