8 Harry Potter TV Spin-Offs We Want To See

4. The Hogwarts Glee Project

A crying shame in Warner Bros' adaptation of Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Askaban was that the screenplay authors left behind one of the most promising elements of the production- the Hogwarts Choir. After their haunting rendition of 'Something Wicked This Way Comes' kicked off Year Three, the group of budding musical magicians were whisked off the stage with the speed of a trained Appirator, a criminal axing if there ever was one. Following this whimsical team of singers' journey through both Hogwarts (renamed McGonogall High post-Deathly Hallows?) and their time as a choir could well prove just as successful a jaunt as any of the Potter flicks and indeed the musical-drama Glee that jump-started telly's new trend of musical comedy. From romances to memory wipe spells used after break-ups, from Regionals to Magic World Nationals, there's no end to the scope with which Warner Bros and the TV studio they choose to carry out this project could ape the New Directions to a wide success. And who knows, perhaps the staff who survived Rowling's murder-thon in the finale (so pretty much everyone bar Dumbledore) have always craved the chance to give a sterling rendition of Queen's 'A Kind Of Magic' at the Yule Ball? Well, stranger things have certainly happened in the Potterverse, and this would most certainly be the opportune moment for such an event to finally take place!
