6. Halloween: Resurrection - Michael Myers
Seeing as there’s about one hundred Halloween films, they were bound to get things wrong at some point. It’s just that... this isn’t how I imagined it.
Just to preface this, I am absolutely not dunking on this scene because it is undeniably the best of the whole film but, you know, hear me out.
Did you ever think you’d see Michael Myers, the masked mass murderer, the psychopathic killer, the relentless reaper get taken down by Busta Rhymes electrocuting him in the nuts? If your answer to that question is yes then you’re an absolute liar and I won’t tolerate it.
It is just genuinely hilarious that after seven instalments of the franchise where Michael wreaks absolute havoc and shows himself to be an unstoppable maniac of unbelievable power, we all just sit here and let it happen when he got bitch-slapped by Busta Rhymes and flung across the room by the sheer power of the electricity channelled through his crotch.
It’s been like 19 years since the film was released and I’m still not sure whether this is what dreams or nightmares are made of…
