8 Iconic Superman Villains Yet To Appear On Film
1. Hank Henshaw
Hank Henshaw, AKA The Cyborg - not to be confused with the Justice League member known as Cyborg - rose to prominence as a DC Comics villain during the Return of Superman event.
Masquerading as a reborn version of the Man of Steel with robotic enhancements, the villain used this as a cover for an evil masterplan involving Metropolis and a hefty nuclear warhead. What a git!
Of course, the real resurrected Superman eventually gets the better of Henshaw with a little help from his friends, but that wasn't the last we saw of The Cyborg.
He's since invaded Apokolips, had a stint in the Sinestro Corps and battled the Last Son of Krypton on numerous occasions, proving himself a worthy adversary.
We've never seen The Cyborg on the big screen, and that's unlikely to change anytime soon to avoid confusion with Justice League's Cyborg, plus the opportunity to adapt Superman Returns has slipped away after the events of Batman v Superman.
It would probably take another reboot, followed by a more direct adaptation of the Death and Return of Superman for Henshaw to force his way into Warner's plans.
