Sometimes it feels like the movies were invented so that writers and directors could conjure up some of the worst and most annoying fictional characters imaginable and make us pay to watch them come alive ("Oh, you didn't like the
Star Wars special editions? Here, have Jar Jar!"). In a lot of cases, these characters come to us as misjudged by their creators, most of whom probably thought we were going to love how zany and weird they were. But check out the characters I've rounded up for inclusion on this list, all of whom are considered to be the epitome of "annoying movie characters that everybody hates." Whereas these guys have certainly earned their reputations for "fictional characters we'd like to murder slowly," it might be unwise to write them off completely... Here's 8 super annoying twerps who genuinely deserve their own movies, 'cause I'm in that kind of mood. I've proposed most of the spin-offs in this article for one reason: I feel like these characters, having went through whatever it is that they went through in whatever movie was unlucky enough to have them, are worthy of their own personal arcs - maybe a spin-off is the way to redeem them for all the suffering they've put upon movie fans over the years...
