8 Michael Keaton Movies That Remind You He IS Batman

3. Out Of Sight

€œYou have no idea how undercover I can be.€ Michael Keaton€™s legendary uncredited appearance in Out of Sight is one of the most surreal moments in the history of film. Not only are two Batmans in the same movie (which luckily both actors make you forget about, at least temporarily), but the appearance is a very rare kind of crossover in a movie€”Michael Keaton plays the same supporting character in two films, adapted from two books by the same novelist, produced by different studios, wearing the same kind of sunglasses, and not part of a franchise. One of the coolest Easter eggs in history, the like of which is usually reserved for comic book culture and enthusiasm alone. On the Batman side of things, Michael Keaton and George Clooney do not physically appear in the same scene. But while Keaton is in the room, Clooney calls up Jennifer Lopez, and says, €œHi. Do you know who this is?€ Lopez looks amazed and very taken aback, her eyes trained on Keaton. To her, the very person they are talking about has called. And the arrangement of the scene is such that Clooney doesn€™t say his name right then. But to me, at this moment I think, €œShe€™s surprised that Batman€™s in two places at once! Both of the actors are there!€ Batman didn€™t even need Superman€™s help on this one to pull it off. This moment is great. Very awesome for me. And released the year after Batman & Robin.
