Fans of MMA know of light heavyweight and heavyweight contender Keith Jardine's exploits in the UFC and Strikeforce. After retiring from the sport, he has then gone on to find success in the film and TV business, staring in notable entertainment roles.

From appearances in acclaimed TV series such as Breaking Bad, to appearing in multiple roles post-retirement in 2012, such as John Wick, acting had then become a serious endeavour for the one time, multiple weight class division contender. One of the bigger roles, albeit minor in the context of the film and cast, Jardine landed was as a Reaver. The Reavers were militant cyborgs, who were led by their leader Donald Pierce, played by Boyd Holbrook, and served as a security force for the Transgien Project.

Conducting double duty was no small feat for the former fighter, as Jardine was also credited as a stunt performer in the superhero epic. His appearance was almost blink-and-miss, in which he and his Reaver cohorts face off against Wolverine in the final act of the film.

Although there may have not been much emphasis given to his role in particular, it is refreshing to see a professional MMA athlete find longevity in the film and TV industry. Jardine's multiple roles, however small, could one day see him thriving with more screen time given to his characters.
