The Exorcist was so plagued by horrible incidents during its production that many involved with the film swore the demon it features had taken up residence on the set.
From set fires, to injuries suffered by the lead actors during shoots, the movie's development was so stricken that cable network E! made a two-hour documentary exploring all of the unexplained phenomena.
Perhaps the most chilling happenings were the deaths of actors Jack MacGowran and Vasiliki Maliaros while the film was in post-production. Sure, people passing away is a part of life, but eerily, both of their characters died in The Exorcist too.
