If you thought Leonardo DiCaprio's namesake would have been any use to him as the struggling artist aboard the Titanic, you'd be very wrong. In fact, he doesn't even act out his own drawing scenes in the movie - so its no wonder it took him so long to win an Oscar. Come on, Leo, just because you've fought a bear doesn't excuse this sort of laziness.

In fact, it was director James Cameron that did the sketching of Kate Winslet like one of Jack's French girls in the iconic 'art' scene. Famously, he's also left handed, so all of these shots had to be flipped in post to make sure no one could tell he's actually the spawn of satan, or whatever they're calling left-handed people these days.

Every sketch in the book is a piece of Cameron's work that he put together for the movie.
