Rob Schneider - Herman Ferguson - Judge Dredd If I were John Wagner - the creator of Judge Dredd - and somebody told me they'd cast Rob Schneider in the movie adaptation of my highly-acclaimed comic book, I'd have laughed. And yet there Schneider is on the big screen, talking to another actor who had no reason to be cast in a movie like this: Sylvester Stallone. Rob Schneider, of course, is like a wacky uncle who has been trying to make you laugh since the day you were born. The more he fails, the more he ramps it up. No exception for his character here, then, a hacker named Herman Ferguson, who exists purely - like so many sidekicks - to make things harder for the stoic protagonist. All you need to know about Ferguson is that he's played by Schneider and is therefore irritating as hell.
