8 Movies Where Extras Got Totally Trolled

1. Rampage Creator Brian Colin Was Invited To Appear As An Extra (But The Scene Got Cut) - Rampage

As far as video game adaptations go, 2018's Rampage really isn't bad at all, and at least captures the chaotic essence of its barmy source material.

For the Dwayne Johnson-starring blockbuster, the original 1986 game's lead designer, Brian Colin, was invited to make a cameo appearance amid the carnage, playing a random citizen who runs away from oversized gorilla George during one of his, well, rampages.

As excited as Colin was to make the cameo, having reportedly visited the set several times during production, that didn't stop his role sadly being cut from the final film, as he reported on social media around the time of its release.

It was hardly a vital role or a wink-wink cameo, but even so, inviting the brainchild behind the very IP you're adapting to play an extra and then cutting him out is definitely poor form. Hopefully if a sequel gets made the filmmakers will put it right.
