4. Field Of Dreams - Shoeless Joe By W. P. Kinsella

fieldofdreams Field of Dreams is perhaps one of the best baseball films there is. It also produced one of the most commonly misquoted movie lines "If you build it he will come." The key difference between the novel and the movie is that in the novel Ray Kinsella travels cross-country to meet J.D. Salinger. The character was changed to the fictional Terrance Mann (portrayed by James Earl Jones) due to a threat of legal action by Salinger. Which was probably a good thing, as James Earl Jones was fantastic in the movie.
