6. A Hulk Movie That Isn't Planet Hulk / World War Hulk

Hulk hasn't had a solo movie since 2008's The Incredible Hulk - the second movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - and he doesn't have one planned in Phase Three. He will, however, be appearing in Thor: Ragnarok and there are rumours that the plot of that movie will incorporate elements of Planet Hulk. However, given that Hulk will undoubtedly be fighting on the side of the heroes in the Avengers: Infinity War movies after that, the likelihood of a World War Hulk movie following that is very slim. But surely there'll be another Hulk solo movie of some description at some point. Mark Ruffalo didn't sign on to be a perpetual supporting character and Phase Four may well be the time to give him one. The problem is, fans are so insistent on the next Hulk movie being Planet Hulk or World War Hulk that they don't want anything else and any other Hulk movie will likely prove to be only as moderately popular as the aforementioned The Incredible Hulk - and that's the lowest grossing movie in the franchise by some distance.
