2. A Thor Movie With A New Thor

With so many catastrophic events set to shake up the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there's every chance that some of the key heroes we've grown so fond of could die. Thor will have to face the events of Ragnarok in 2017 and he might not even survive that - Ragnarok is, after all, an event that kills off the Asgardian gods in order for them to be replaced - but, even if he does live through it, he will have the Infinity War to take part in and that could certainly finish him off. The comic book version of Thor was recently replaced with a female (Jane Foster, to be precise) and Marvel Studios could genuinely be looking to do something similar with the character in the MCU if Chris Hemsworth's character meets his maker. However, it would probably be best to just let Thor go once he's died and bring in some completely fresh characters - particularly if Natalie Portman's being lined up to become the thunder god (which, admittedly, does seem unlikely, given her hatred of her role as Foster).
