7. The Game of Death

Bruce Lee tragically died just 3 months before Enter the Dragon was to become a smash hit in the US, but shark-like Hollywood producers decided that the man's career would continue to blossom, and that being dead wasn't an excuse for not starring in more movies. Prior to production on Enter the Dragon kicking off, Lee had filmed portions of a movie called The Game of Death, and after Lee's death, Enter the Dragon director Robert Clouse took the raw dailies and shot new footage to try and splice together a whole new Bruce Lee movie. Stand-ins were used that didn't at all resemble Lee - it becomes downright laughable at some points - and footage of Lee's funeral, complete with his corpse lying in rest, were shoehorned into the film to try and give it more gravitas, but in the end, it just gives the whole project a crass air of tackiness. Check out in the video below where they replaced Lee with A CARDBOARD CUT-OUT of him (at around 1.10); Not content to desecrate the man's legacy this much, the filmmakers used more footage for a second Game of Death film a few years later...
