7. Who Brought Bucky Back (Captain America: The Winter Soldier)

In the recent Captain America: The Winter Soldier trailer, we got to see Bucky Barnes during what appears to be his transformation in to the Winter Soldier. He is strapped in to a chair in what appears to be a heavily guarded room and is topless with some machinery attached to his head and his new bionic arm clearly on show. We also see him coming round from being unconscious €“ presumably from the procedure that turned him in to the Winter Soldier €“ and moving his bionic arm for what could be the first time (in a scene that is straight-up ripped from the comic book scenes in which the Winter Soldier's origins were shown). However, it's still not clear who is responsible for turning Barnes in to this brainwashed cyborg assassin (after he fell to his apparent death in the first film), so it will be very interesting to see if it was down to HYDRA as an organisation or Arnim Zola as an individual, or even if it had something to do with the apparently long gone Red Skull. It might even be down to S.H.I.E.L.D, as the impression given in the trailers is that not everything is as it seems within the organisation. Either way, it's going to be fun finding out.
