8 Things Missing From Star Wars: The Force Awakens

8. A Badass Moment For Captain Phasma

Gwendolyn Christie's Captain Phasma was an element of The Force Awakens that got people hyped up from the off; and all it took was chrome armour and a Boba Fett-style cloak. Fans expected big things of Phasma when she was first glimpsed in the second teaser trailer, striding down a corridor in that don't-f*ck-with-me way. How disappointing, then, when we finally got to see the entirety of Episode VII, and Phasma... strides down a corridor. Okay, so that's not all she does, but we never actually see her do so much as fire her weapon. In the village massacre that opens the film, she gives the order, but there's no need for her to get involved in the execution. She's later seen chastising FN-2187 for taking off his helmet. And that's pretty much it! Oh yeah, until we see her wimp out and dismantle Starkiller Base's shield (effectively betraying the First Order) at the first sign of danger.
