8 Things Prometheus 2 Must Do To Avoid Being Terrible

1. Answer At Least Some Questions That Don't Just Lead To More Bloody Questions

Nothing is clearly defined in Prometheus, and every question that is answered (very few) simply creates dozens more questions in its place. Prometheus is like the HYDRA of frustrating, withholding storytelling. Nobody knows who the Builders really are, where they came from or why they created humanity, let alone why they tried to destroy it after flip-flopping on their little gene-exercise. It's difficult to come up with anything solid that's actually learned over the course of the film, other than the fact that the planet Prometheus lands on was a base for creating human-killing weapons which, like I said - questions within questions. Everybody loves a good mystery plot, but sooner or later the mystery has to be solved so our curiosity can be satisfied and everyone can go home, but if Prometheus 2 persists in withholding information under the guise of being mysterious then it's in serious danger of further alienating an already distant and confused audience. Clarifying certain plot points and at least giving a few solid answers to some burning questions would at the very least give fans the impression that the creators know what they're doing and aren't just screwing with them for the hell of it. Right now, though, the jury's out...
