8 Things You Could Probably Expect From Quentin Tarantino's Sci-Fi Movie

5. It Won't Just Be Sci-Fi

Even when Tarantino chooses a genre, he incorporates tropes and aspects of other genres as well; effectively blending the two into a unique viewing experience. Inglourious Basterds was more of a revenge flick than a war movie, while Django Unchained took the Antebellum South by storm by incorporating Spaghetti Western techniques, which Tarantino himself referred to as "Spaghetti Southern." Then there's Kill Bill, which was a menagerie of film styles like revenge flick, martial arts film, spaghetti western, and action movie all in one; and Death Proof, an homage to 70's slasher movies and exploitation movies. Even if Tarantino decides to make a sci-fi movie, he'll likely return to his beloved styles and influences and resort to genre-bending. One could easily see a more futuristic, science-fiction style Pulp Fiction, an alien invasion movie blended perfectly with Spaghetti Western signatures, or an homage to exploitation films and classic B-movies. In fact, we'd prefer he do something like that, and add a bit of variety to the genre.
