4. Will Spider-Man 2099 Appear In The Sequel? - Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse

The Question: Into the Spider-Verse's hysterical post-credits scene saw Miguel O'Hara aka Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac) travelling to Earth-67, the universe of the 1967 Spider-Man animated series, where an hilarious "pointing match" ensued between the two (referencing the classic Pointing Spider-Man meme).

But was this just a throwaway gag, or will we be seeing Spider-Man 2099 in the already-confirmed Spider-Verse sequel?

Prediction: It's a tough one, honestly, because this could easily just be a fun nod or a direct lead-in to Miguel O'Hara playing a major part in the next movie.

It'll most likely come down to how busy Oscar Isaac's schedule is over the next few years, and with Star Wars: Episode IX already in the can, he could very well have a far lighter load when Spider-Verse 2 ramps up production.

We'll go with yes, because even if Isaac doesn't return, it wouldn't require too much logical chicanery to introduce another parallel universe version of the character and make a joke out of Isaac's absence.
