8 Ways Jared Leto's Joker Is Already The Worst Version Of The Character

2. Damaged

This could fall under the general tattoo issue, but is just so singularly irritating it warrants its own point. Why on God's green hair does Joker had "Damaged" tattooed on his forehead? Did he choose to brand himself one day? Or did someone do it as punishment, ignoring that he embraces his own insanity? And, most importantly of all, why did no one on the make-up team point out how stupid it was? Nobody in the world is under any illusions that Joker is an insane, unhinged, dangerous psychopath who you really wouldn't want to come into contact with. That's the base level of the character. You don't need to literally label him as such. Not only have they done that, but unlike the rest of the tattoos, which would hopefully spend much of the film covered up by a purple (or white) jacket, this is going to be visible all the way through the movie (unless Joker has a fringe, which is somehow worse).
