8 Worst Bond Girls Of All Time

8. Paris Carver (Teri Hatcher) - Tomorrow Never Dies

Small world dept: Monica Belluci, who plays Lucia Sciarra in Spectre, auditioned for this role back in 1997 and was turned down in favour of Teri Hatcher, who was then coming off Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman. Given how history played out, the producers must€™ve regretted their choice. At the time of the film€™s release, there were rumours that Hatcher€™s screen time was reduced after negative feedback from test audiences, which if it isn€™t true, should be. Paris Carver exists only to add phony drama to a mechanical plot, and when her loony husband (played with an admirable lack of restraint by Jonathan Pryce) does away with her, the only thing the audience feels is that her character was wasted. Hatcher later echoed the sentiment, saying, €œIt€™s such an artificial kind of character to be playing that you don€™t get any special satisfaction from it.€ She claimed she€™d only done the role for her then husband, who€™d always wanted to be married to a Bond girl.
