Being a teenager really sucks, and it's worse if you're being raised by a single parent. But, what about when your mom meets a great guy, and they get married? You should give this new guy a chance, right? You should...up until you hear your step-dad go on a psychotic rant to people that aren't there. Oh, there's also the possibility he murdered his previous family and butchered their remains. At that point you definitely don't have to give him a chance, and you really should alert the authorities. Let's not forget he also lies about your boyfriend trying to rape you, and seems a little too happy when there's a rift between you and your mother. Remember how I said I hope none of these parents exist? I spoke too soon. This was very loosely based on John Emil List. He shot his mother, wife and children to "save their souls, and send them to heaven". He expressed remorse before his death, but one has to wonder how sorry he was if he changed his identity, fled the state, and later remarried. I'm going to say he just wanted to cover his own butt in hopes that God wouldn't send him to hell in a hand basket.
