9 Actors Who Could Completely Ruin Their Upcoming Movies

8. Cara Delevingne - Laureline (Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets)

There's a lot of lessons to be learned from Suicide Squad: extreme method acting may make good headlines, but it's worthless against an editor's digital scissors; calling people "bad guys" doesn't immediately make them bad guys; the DC Extended Universe is veering sharply towards a cliff. But perhaps the biggest is that Cara Delevingne really shouldn't be acting.

Her Enchantress was pathetic, a repressed suit that transforms into a skimpily dressed belly dancer whose attempts at speaking in an ancient tongue just made her look confused. Delevingne wasn't all that bad in Paper Towns, but this really showed her range, or lack thereof.

She's popping up in a few upcoming movies hoping to cash in on her army of Instagram followers, but the one where she's most likely to derail the whole thing is Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets. Now, granted, this one's not exactly a film anyone outside of the original comics is amped for - yes, it's Luc Besson returning to galactic sci-fi twenty years after The Fifth Element, but he's hardly been strong since then - but Delevingne is the biggest point of contention; she's never shouldered a project like this, putting a lot of weight on co-star Dane DeHaan.
