Can't Hardly Wait was a teen comedy that takes place at a high school graduation party and features a giant cast of soon-to-be famous actors, including Jennifer Love Hewitt, Seth Green, and Ethan Embry. Most of them probably don't remember much about the forgettable comedy nowadays, and at least one of them owes that to the copious amounts of weed he was smoking during production.
At the time, when we were shooting that, I was the worlds biggest stoner. I remember the director came up to me and asked if I was altered. But other than that, nothing sticks out because I was so stoned the entire time.
That's Embry, who played hopeless romantic Preston Meyers, when asked to recount any notable happenings from his time spent making the movie. He couldn't come up with anything. Literally. Nothing. Well, okay, technically he remembered one thing, but only as it related to his habitual highness. Apparently Love Hewitt was skeeved out by him during filming and, before their big kissing scene at the end of the film, she begged Embry to wash his mouth out and pop multiple breath mints because he reeked of weed.
