4. Project X (1987)
No, I am not talking about that movie released in 2012 about douchebags throwing a party, but rather an actually good film that stars Ferris Bueller himself, Matthew Broderick as a young airmen assigned to a top secret military research program involving the use of chimpanzees as guinea pigs. Upon discovering not only their intelligence levels but the dubious means in which the chimps are being disposed of by the US Government, he teams up with the token hottie (A young Helen Hunt) to free the animals, expose their treatment and save the day. I loved this film as I grew up and it was actually significant in developing my now love for all things non human. But for some reason its memory has been wiped from the collective consciousness that inhabits this world like a virus. And thanks to that other "Project X' which showcased exactly why these same chimps (and their Planet of the Ape counterparts) have all the right in the world to take over and conquer humanity as we are seemingly doomed in the first place, this film has literally been removed from the annals of movie history. Now instead of a family fun entertaining little life lesson about the horrors of animal cruelty (ironic considering the producers were sued for that exact reason following film completion), we now have a stark and constant reminder that most modern day young people are just idiots whom although are meant to be the future of the human race, have doomed it to extinction by their actions alone. It's madness, I tell you.
