As Infinity War draws ever closer there have been numerous rumours about the location of the last infinity stone to be discovered, the Soul Stone. Many of these rumours revolved around Thor: Ragnarok in some way, predicting the stone to be the power behind Heimdall's all seeing vision, or the Odinforce.

Yet with Ragnarok showing no hint to the whereabouts of the final piece of Thanos' puzzle, it seems the stone has to be revealed in the only movie left before Infinity War, Black Panther.

Wakanda is a special, mystical place, being miles ahead of the rest of the world technologically, housing the only Vibranium deposits on the planet and other mysterious things Everett Ross has never seen before. There has to be a reason for why this is possible, and an infinity stone would be the perfect explanation.

This stone could also be used to bring the Djalia into the MCU. This is a state of limbo between living and dead, with a person's soul wandering the Djalia plane, similar in some ways to the astral plane introduced in Doctor Strange. It is also very similar to the powers of the soul gem in the comics, storing people's souls within the gem itself rather than killing them. This could be another way to add more depth to Wakanda.
